T-Mobile Will Hide Equipment Inside 100-Foot-High Cross At Lake Worth Church

LAKE WORTH, Fla. —An enormous white cross being constructed at a Lake Worth church will also double as a cell phone tower.

Church executive director John Sasson said T-Mobile will hide equipment inside the 100-foot-high cross, which spans 30 feet. The installation of the structure began this week, Sasson said the cross provides “advertising we would not have been able to afford,” as well as some additional income.
