Proverbs 6:6-11
King James Version (KJV)
6 Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:
7 Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,
8 Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.
9 How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?
10 Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:
11 So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man.
SAINTS, I WAS MEDITATING ON THIS SCRIPTURE… THIS IS SOO DEEP!! I WOULD LIKE TO CHALLENGE YOU TO THINK OF WAYS US CHRISTIANS ARE LIKE ANTS AND LEAVE A COMMENT ON WHAT YOU DISCOVER… I WILL GIVE YOU ONE THAT I THOUGHT OF….THEY CAN LIFT OVER 40 TIMES THEIR WEIGHT (NOTICE WHEN YOUR IN THE REAL PRESENCE OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, YOU CAN DO THINGS YOU NEVER THOUGHT YOU COULD DO (LIKE THE ANT LIFTING WAY MORE THAN ASSUMED), PHIL 4:13 SAYS I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO GIVES ME STRENGTH!! NOW, UNLIKE THE ANT… WE HAVE A GUIDE AND A RULER…HIS NAME IS JESUS CHRIST! HOWEVER, IT APPEARS TO THE WORLD THAT WE DONT HAVE AN OVERSEER, BUT LITTLE DO THEY KNOW ANTS CAN BE CONTROLED BY A QUEEN ANT THROUGH A CHEMICAL SHE RELEASES (pheromones in Temnothorax ants)… LETS CONTRAST THAT TO OUR WALK… WE ARE GUIDED BY THE INVISIBLE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT (WHO DOESNT FORCE US, BUT RATHER LEADS US)… THATS ENOUGH FROM ME…WHAT CAN YOU FIND 🙂
Praise The Lord!
The ant works hard to prepare for the future. We should do likewise by staying in prayer, fasting, reading and obeying the Word. This is our preparation for any thing the enemy may throw our way in the future. When tough times come we don’t sweat it because our focus is on The Lord and He gives us guidance and strength for any and every situation.

There are armies of ants… We are a army of Christians . Also they are surrounded by humans that harm them. Us Christians are surrounded by evil that are harming and killing us. But the ants do not fear , they still creep in our houses finding food. We do not fear as we are in this world walking around amongst evil… Never thought we had so much in common with ants . On the flip side, to kill an ant and its colony (family) we must set out bait. Bait works best by combining an attractive food source with a slow acting poison. The ant takes the poison back to its FAMILY and after time, problem solved. What are Christians bringing back to their homes (family) that will, eventually, spiritually kill them? Secular movies? Music? Books? Etc….

6. The ant can carry bigger things (problems) then there own body`s.
7. With no bijbel, no Jesus (as saviour) and no GOD as there guidness or strengths.(We do have all these things)
8. They don`t let no harvest (oppertunities) go to waste but gathereth there food(word of GOD) in the summer (when there is Light)
9.How long will we (christians) sleep on the Words of GOD ?
10. Yet a little sleep(Don`t read the Word), a little slumber(Read the Word but don`t put it in practice), a little folding of the hands to sleep(Read or listen to the Word but don`t accept it)
11. When It`s time of war against the evil You don`t know the Word or you don`t have your protected shield ready to protect you against the evil army and you will be defeated.
