CONSIDER THE ANT: PROVERBS 6:6-11

Proverbs 6:6-11

6 Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:
7 Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,
8 Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.
9 How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?
10 Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:
11 So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man.

SAINTS, I WAS MEDITATING ON THIS SCRIPTURE… THIS IS SOO DEEP!! I WOULD LIKE TO CHALLENGE YOU TO THINK OF WAYS US CHRISTIANS ARE LIKE ANTS AND LEAVE A COMMENT ON WHAT YOU DISCOVER… I WILL GIVE YOU ONE THAT I THOUGHT OF….THEY CAN LIFT OVER 40 TIMES THEIR WEIGHT (NOTICE WHEN YOUR IN THE REAL PRESENCE OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, YOU CAN DO THINGS YOU NEVER THOUGHT YOU COULD DO (LIKE THE ANT LIFTING WAY MORE THAN ASSUMED), PHIL 4:13 SAYS I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO GIVES ME STRENGTH!! NOW, UNLIKE THE ANT… WE HAVE A GUIDE AND A RULER…HIS NAME IS JESUS CHRIST! HOWEVER, IT APPEARS TO THE WORLD THAT WE DONT HAVE AN OVERSEER, BUT LITTLE DO THEY KNOW ANTS CAN BE CONTROLED BY A QUEEN ANT THROUGH A CHEMICAL SHE RELEASES (pheromones in Temnothorax ants)… LETS CONTRAST THAT TO OUR WALK… WE ARE GUIDED BY THE INVISIBLE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT (WHO DOESNT FORCE US, BUT RATHER LEADS US)… THATS ENOUGH FROM ME…WHAT CAN YOU FIND 🙂
